Baltimore Cityscape

This view of West Baltimore Street is a study of the layers of modern city life.   The German Savings Bank building, which has housed in modern times a series of night clubs, reflects the cultural roots of many Baltimore businesses.  An eclectic eatery is nestled alongside.  Rising in the distance is one of the most familiar landmarks of Baltimore’s business district, the Bromo Seltzer tower.  It was modeled after the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Italy.
